james + cyril's wedding
James + Cyril said "oui!" at Thalia Hall in August. A lawyer and an architect, one from Chicago and one from France, these two have enough style in their pinky fingers to pull off the chicest wedding of the year. Built in the 1800's and lovingly restored in 2014 after having been vacant for 50 years wasn't enough for these two. No, James and Cyril loved the idea of being the very first wedding Thalia Hall ever hosted and was exactly the kind of experience they were looking to wow their overseas and local Chicago guests with. They hit the city and the Pilsen neighborhood for some photos with their wedding party on their way to the Hall. They got married on stage in front of a custom-made neon sign with the most important little word of the day, “oui!” Cocktail hour was hosted in the balcony and dinner from Dusek’s Board & Beer was served on the main floor. They partied the night away with a most epic dance party fueled by craft beers, state of the art sound and lights (what else would you expect from a music venue?) and what wedding would be complete without a fog machine? Not this one! Congrats Cyril + James!
